Promptolis is free, MIT-licensed, and ad-free. Use every prompt on the site, modify it, share it, build on it. We own the Promptolis Originals, but we grant you a permanent, unrestricted license to use them — including commercially — with attribution appreciated but not required.

1. What Promptolis is

Promptolis is a free online library of AI prompts for ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. It includes:

Community prompts: curated from the open-source awesome-chatgpt-prompts project (MIT License).
Promptolis Originals: hand-crafted by Atilla Kuruk, published under MIT License.

2. License

All content is licensed under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the prompts — including commercially — subject to the MIT License conditions (retaining the copyright notice).

Attribution is appreciated but not required. If you do attribute: "Prompt from promptolis.com" or a link to the page is perfect.

3. No warranty

The prompts are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI outputs vary by model and context. You are responsible for verifying the output before acting on it. Promptolis is not liable for decisions made based on AI output.

4. Third-party AI models

Promptolis is not OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Launching a prompt in ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini is subject to those vendors' terms. Your use of their models is their contract with you, not ours.

5. Privacy & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization. We do not collect emails, accounts, or personal identifiers. The engagement database (copy counts, ratings) is aggregated and non-identifying.

6. Content moderation

Promptolis does not host user-generated content. Every Original is hand-reviewed. Community prompts inherit the awesome-chatgpt-prompts project's own moderation. If you find a prompt that should not be on Promptolis, use the contact form.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be dated at the top. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the new terms.
